You
are welcome to visit the herbarium Monday through Friday from 8 am
to 5 pm. Since we are not always working in the collection, it is
best to make an appointment with one of the curators to ensure easy
access. Unrestricted access may be obtained after minimal orientation.
Tours for native plant groups or public schools can be arranged in
advance at mutually convenient times for the curator and
the visitor. The collection includes sample working space, materials,
and dissecting microscopes for most research needs.
For those coming from out of town exit interstate 10 or 25 at University Ave. From interstate 10 proceed east 0.5miles along University Ave, turn right on Espina and left on Horseshoe. From the Interstate 25 follow University Ave west ca. 1.5 miles to Espina and turn left, then left on Horseshoe (for a map view of these directions go to MAIN MAP in the web link bellow). |
